  it can’t be more than 200 years old, but it’s weird how quickly things change;

  • Stanningley used to be Staningley
  • Owlcotes used to be Alcoates
  • Fulneck used to be Fallneck
  • Tyersal used to be Tiresall
  • Newlay used to be Newlaith

  I wonder how we’ll be spelling them/what we’ll be calling them in another 100 years’ time
